What helps a local business most

A Google Business Profile. It’s free, and it’s how you show up on the map. If you haven’t claimed yours, start there.
Real reviews from real customers. People read them, and they help you stand out.
A page for each thing you do. Someone searching for one service should land on a page about that service.
A site that works on a phone. It should load quickly and make it easy to call you.

What I won’t do

Guarantee you first place on Google. Google itself says nobody can.
Post fake reviews or buy links. Those can get a business in trouble with Google.
Make copies of the same page with a different town name on each.

How long does SEO take?

Usually months rather than days. If you need calls this week, Google Ads is faster, and SEO is what keeps working over the long run.

Do I need a new website?

Not always. Sometimes the site you have just needs better pages and a few repairs. If it’s not worth saving, I’ll tell you why.

Is SEO better than ads?

They do different jobs. Ads can start quickly but stop when you stop paying. SEO is slower but keeps working. Many local businesses do well starting with their free Google profile.
